THE GREAT ANNUAL EVENT FOR MOTORING ENTHUSIASTS

The 2nd Classic Motorshow in Lahti was attended by over 16.100 visitors at the weekend. This represents an increase of 28 % over the first year´s figures.

Parking space had been reserved for over 600 classic vehicles in the immediate vicinity of Lahti Fair Center. Only vehicles older than 25 years were admitted to two vast parking lots both of which were fully taken up for most of the two days during opening hours of the exhibition.

-It pleases me immensely that classic vehicle enthusiasts have taken our event to their hearts, says promoter Risto Laine. -We had visitors from all over Finland, as well as Estonia, Sweden and even Great Britain.

SF-Scooterfreaks club was awarded the prize for Best Stand in Classic Motorshow 2009. However, as the quality of stands was exceptionally high, the organizer also decided to acknowledge the stands of Women´s Automobile Club and Steyr-Puch Club Finland.

The 3rd Classic Motorshow will take place next year on May 8.-9.
